Tibor is the work of Tibor “Ted” Juracsik, Hungarian-born tool and die master and accomplished fly angler. Based in Delray Beach, Florida, Tibor Reel Corporation is widely thought to produce the finest fly fishing reels on the planet. Especially appropriate for saltwater fly fishing, Tibor reels are renowned for their durability, beauty, and simplicity, which Ted sees originating in his ‘Old World’ apprenticeship with Hungarian masters in the tool and die trade. In 2007, more IGFA records were landed on Tibor Reels than any other make, which speaks to the capability of the equipment, but also the currency it carries among top anglers the world over. |
