Leland on the Orvis Guide to Prospecting for Trout

How trout live & feed, & how to make them strike. Tackles the "no-hatch" situation with multiple strategies for success. Written for both the novice and the seasoned angler, Prospecting for Trout picks up where Rosenbauer’s The Orvis Guide to Reading Trout Streams left off, exploring how trout live and feed, and how to make them strike. There is expert advice on how to fish with dry flies, wet flies, nymphs, and streamers—supported by many detailed illustrations and photographs. This is the guide no trout fisherman should be without. In this comprehensive and readable guide, Tom Rosenbauer shares his vast knowledge of fly fishing when there is no hatch. B&W illus, photos; 6x9 inches, 288 pgs.
