Leland on Tying Furled Flies

Introduces readers to furling,
the technique of twisting materials together. Furling has unlimited potential for creating distinctive mottled & variegated patterns to imitate some of the common (& not so common) foods that trout, bass, & steelhead feed on. Hanley offers insights on how to fish these patterns using techniques from standard presentations to more radical "puppeteering" to entice fish to strike. 500 color photos; 8.5x11 inches, 144 pgs.
