work the water from the basis of fundamental fishing the stream to
expert fishing the currents, flat water and riffles. It covers how to
fish hatches from daylight to darkness including Caddis, Sulfurs and the
Green Drake. The Dry Fly and The
Top Water Game also features a reenactment, with his grandson, of a day that
changed Joe Humphreys life and his approach to fishing. Joe Humphreys, a veteran of over 70 years of fly fishing
experience, referred to as the Angling Professor, retired from Penn
State University after 20 years.
