Leland on the Redington CPX Softshell Jacket
Soft shells have changed everything in the outdoor industry, starting with traditional beliefs about layering.
Own the Redington CPX Softshell Jacket and you’ll understand why. While strictly speaking, a soft shell like the CPX cannot replace a hardshell made of something like Gore-Tex™, it will
handle windstorms, light rainfall, and light to medium snowfall just as well. In fact, it will handle them better – softshells are more versatile than hardshells mostly because
they are far more breathable, meaning you won’t get clammy from your own sweat when wading hard in the current, or hiking between your truck and the river. If you’ve never worn a softshell, try one and you’ll be amazed – at how comfy you find it, how breathable, and, in the end, how much you use it.

Whether you're fishing
through a snowstorm, or jetting back to port after a day on the flats,
you're going to want to be wearing the right outer layer. Fortunately,
Redington makes fly fishing outerwear for those die-hard anglers who

array of soft shells, and a technical fleece jacket, Redington's line
of outerwear can help you make the most of inclement and rapidly
changing weather.
What's more,
Redington's fly fishing
outerwear
never breaks the bank, with reasonable prices that provide a breath of
fresh air in a sport that can become expensive in a hurry. This is
cold- and wet-weather gear that's purpose-built and affordably
packaged, to keep
both you and your finances in total comfort.
Leland on Redington
Redington
has steadily built an impressive reputation since opening its operation
in 1992. From day one, Redington tasked its business with the lofty
goal of producing high quality, high performance, and high value fly
fishing gear for uncompromising anglers around the world, a goal many
other manufacturing firms have tried to accomplish with little success.
Redington, however, has never strayed from its priorities, and has met
and exceeded its own stated expectations over the years. Today,
Redington is an extremely influential player in the fly fishing game,
outfitting anglers of all levels with well-designed, top-performing,
and incredibly durable fly fishing gear and technical clothing. All
goals, no matter the size or shape, are set to be accomplished, and
Redington's goal of becoming a heavy-hitting producer of
heavier-hitting fly fishing gear and clothing has been accomplished ...
and then some. In a word, Redington products are impressive.
Redington on the CPX Soft Shell Jacket
Made from smooth-faced windproof soft shell fabric with microfleece
lining.
The soft shell is highly water repellant and breathable.
Microfleece is great for pulling any moisture from your body and
insulating you just enough to stay comfortable, not too warm. In
pocket, hidden draw system cinches waist. Non-gusseted hand warmer
pockets and an inner zip-security pocket. Velcro closures at the wrist.
Redington on Redington
Founded
in 1992, Redington has always brought innovation, performance, and
tremendous value to anglers worldwide. Our roots are now in the Pacific
Northwest where we have access to some of the most wonderful fishing
resources in the world.
Redington is a proud sponsor of
Trout
Unlimited,
Federation of Fly Fishers and the
Take Me Fishing Program.
Employees have also been encouraged to become part of the Recreational
Boating and Fishing Foundation’s Angler’s Legacy, a program in which
avid anglers pledge to take a novice fishing at least once a year.
Recently,
Redington joined the fight against Pebble Mine development in
Southwest
Alaska's
Bristol Bay, an area where the wilds of nature provide
sustenance and life to a region dependant on fisheries. We are proud
to join forces with Trout Unlimited Alaska and
Felt Soul Media – an
award winning producer of fly fishing films – to produce a video that
will reveal the beauty and bounty of the pristine Bristol Bay watershed
and give a voice to the commercial, sport and subsistence fishermen
banding together to stop the proposed Pebble Mine.
