Leland on Sage Performance Bass Taper Fly Lines
If you need to cast large, wind resistant, heavy flies to
waiting predators, bucko, you've found your line! The new Sage
Performance Bass Taper Fly Lines are specially designed with a short,
heavy belly and quick front taper to turn over big flies and heavy
leaders. The floating Sage Bass Lines redefine an angler's ability to
throw big bugs with ease and are available in two line weights; 290
grains and 330 grains. These lines were just recently designed as a

the Smallmouth and Largemouth, respectively. However, these lines will
function very well on your own rods, with the 290 grain model castable

Leland on Sage Fly Lines
If you know what makes a fly fishing
rod work then surely you can design the perfect fly line, right? That
is exactly what Team Sage has done! Using their extreme knowledge of
the workings of a fly rod, Sage has developed very specific tapers
for today's fly fishing rods. And no, this is not just some marketing
technique to sell fly lines with their fly rods. There is as much
effort put into line development as is continually put into Sage's
rod development. Sage has taken fly line development to a new level,
by designing very specific tapers for modern high-performance fly
fishing rods. Formulated to be precise and weight-specific for a
balanced loading system, the Sage design team has developed some of
the finest fly lines on the market.

The weight-forward floating lines in this series are
available in 290 grain and 330 grain, and should be matched with the
Smallmouth and Largemouth rods, respectively. Both lines are
characterized by a short, heavy belly and quick front taper designed to
turn over big flies and heavy leaders.
