Beulah on Beulah Saltwater Rods

Saltwater fly fishing is demanding on both gear and angler. Big fish, salt water and bouncing boats can all put the hurt on a graphite rod. At Beulah we love fly fishing in the salt and you can see it in our rods. The Blue Water and Surf series are built tough to meet the challenge, while at the same time being well thought-out and engineered for the environment. We incorporate salt resistant reel seats and guides, which will only require a quick rinse at the day’s end for maintenance.

Our blanks use high modulus IM8 graphite in a bias-ply lay up. This enables us to produce stronger, lighter rods with increased hoop strength for durability under stress. While casting a strong double haul or fighting a 50 pound dorado, you shouldn’t have to consider all that technical jargon. Let that be our concern. Fish with confidence, it’s a Beulah!
