Sage 3000D Series Fly Reels

There is no group of better proportioned reels for today's lightweight fly rods than Sage's 3000D Series Fly Reels. There are few reels, if any, that have the stopping power of a Sage, and there are fewer reels that have the quality sealed drag system that make the 3000D Series an instant classic. There are simply no reels that have the ability to change drag levels on the fly the way these reels can; Sage has even placed numbers on the drag dial so there is never any confusion of where the drag is set. Sage has put as much effort into these reels as they have put into the construction of their legendary fly rods, and it shows. We have tested them against the harsh environment of Christmas Island and against the power of some big tarpon and have yet to have one fail.
