Advanced technology and design, unique style, and a downright likable bunch of people. That pretty much sums up Kaenon Sunglass Company. Kaenon's founder, former Olympic sailor Steve Roseberg, is used to staking his life on his gear in the most demanding environment imaginable: the open sea. He adapted a sailor's philosophy toward design with the goal of starting a new evolution in sunglass technology. The result is the SR-91 polarized lens: the only polarized lens that offers razor-sharp clarity, impact protection, superior scratch resistance and glare reduction, all in one ultra-lightweight lens. So while the stakes aren't quite as high in fishing as in sailing (although it can feel like life or death when a permit tails 80 feet away), it's awful nice to buy your specs from a company that accepts no compromises.
