Leland on Loon UV Wader Repair
The old adage "Roof only leaks when it rains" might be applied to flyfishing, as well in "waders only leak when you wade". Loon UV Wader Repair can repair your waders, rain gear, shoes or other equipment out in the field in seconds, when you need them most. This amazing, flexible polymer, when exposed to a few seconds of sunlight, dries to a non tacky finish, so you can get on with your outdoor activites in comfort. Loon UV Wader Repair is a must for your wader repair kit when traveling for the day, fishing overnight or for a month. Small 1/2 ounce plastic applicator tube stows and goes anywhere. Apply Loon UV to a tear or puncture in the shade, and it dries to a flexible, yet firm finish when you step out into the sun. Don't go unprepared as your waders are always going to suffer wear and tear in the field. Keep on fishing!

Leland on Loon
As with so many other manufacturers, Loon was born from a necessity for
better fly fishing equipment. An avid fly fisherman and talented
chemist, Dan Paradis knew he could develop fly and leader amendments
that were environmental friendly to boot.
Dan started tinkering with a basic piece of fly fishing equipment, the
sinker, and developed Loon's Deep Soft Weight, a lead-free, non-toxic
weight in putty form as an alternative to split shot. It was an
immediate hit with anglers from coast to coast. In 1993, he developed
and patented Loon's Biostrike, a reusable, biodegradable strike
indicator putty. Again, fly fishing enthusiasts raved about Loon's
product. Dan and his legacy at Loon Outdoors continue to introduce
revolutionary, award winning fly fishing products to the industry,
pushing the market towards more environmentally friendly fly fishing
products.
Loon on the Loon UV Wader Repair
Don’t let a wader leak ruin your day, be back in the water in
seconds. Works on wet or dry waders, wetsuits, hiking boots, and
many other items. Apply UV Wader Repair directly to your leak or
tear, expose to sunlight, and you are back in business.
PRODUCT TIP:
Apply all UV curable products in full shade or inside, then let the
application cure in full, direct sunlight. These products will not
cure through a window.
Loon on Loon
While casting a caddis on the Boise River in 1991, Loop founder Dan
Paradis knew he could combine his knowledge of chemistry with his love
of the outdoors and passion for fly fishing. He left his successful
career as the technical director of Dexter Aerospace to begin a new
journey. Loon Outdoors is that journey and Loon's concept is simple; to
create environmentally-friendly fly fishing products that perform at an
exceptional level.
Dan will be missed; but the best way Loop knows how to honor him is to
continue the journey. To continue living and pursuing a life filled with
our passions. To continue providing environmentally conscious fly
fishing products that better enable fishermen to find success in all
their fly fishing endeavors. Thank you, Dan. Thank you for living a
courageous life, and showing us the joy of pursuing our passions. May
you be honored by Loon Outdoors and all the lessons we learned from your
life.
